My Brother Died in the Hospital

I absolutely believe it could be real. I lived with my grandparents in my early years. My great-grandmother also lived with us. I spent a lot of time with her until, like you, one day she was taken to the hospital. As close as I was to her, I would not be allowed to see her nor attend her funeral. They thought I was too young as well. As years went by, I thought of her fondly and somehow always felt as if she was watching over me. Nothing I really discussed with anyone. Just something I felt.

One night while sleeping in my own home, she came to me in my dream. It was so real and so amazingly sad. I remember every detail, including what she was wearing and how perfectly neat her hair was. She said goodbye to me.

I woke up, feeling my experience was so real. And I had a deep sadness. Real feeling of loss over her nearly 25 years later. Three days later, my grandfather, her son passed away suddenly in his sleep. To further validate my experience, a few weeks later, my aunt gave all of us a picture of my great grandmother she found while we were cleaning his home. She had it professionally restored and made copies for all of us. In this picture was my great-grandmother looking and wearing exactly what she wore when she came to me that night. As far as I'm concerned, that was 100% real and I cherish her coming back to me for a few minutes.
