I am currently running a college of sword bard at level 6 currently

With a +3 in charisma and dexterity, definitely take two weapon fighting and duel wielder feat

Currently duel wielding Rapiers, having extra attack is just amazing

Although from level 3 to level 6 your damage will be lackluster but once u reach level 6 you become the true jack of all trades

Need to tank: - enhance ability bear endurance - defensive flourish procs and boosts ur AC

Need to dish out massive dmg: - cast cloud of daggers - attack and proc mobile flourish, kick people in it

Lots of low level mobs: - attack and use slashing flourish, ( slashing flourish applies to all creatures 5ft in range with you)

You also have the full arsenal of bard spells Over that, you entertain people with your swords and daggers

I use minor illusion to play music, and throw swords and daggers with acrobatics

I like to use dissonant whispers, phantasmal force in combat if I'm dealing with flying creatures or tough ones

Suggestion when i need to convince someone

So far its been pretty fun and didn't feel i had to multiclass
