So a few years ago, I got married to my amazing husband.

4 months after the wedding, my cousin stayed at my house for a few days. she told me that I could damage my wedding ring if I showered with it on. So I took it off and put it on my dresser while I showered. When I came out of the shower, it was gone.

I spent ages looking for it but couldn't find it anywhere. A few months later, my cousin got married as well.

I went to speak to her afterwards, say congrats, catch up, all that kind of stuff and noticed she was wearing MY RING.

I said nothing and then left and told my husband.

We plotted our revenge.

We went to their house for a week. When she was in the shower, I stole my ring back. While there, my husband searched their basement and found unpaid tax letters.

We reported them to the tax evasion office and found out the had been avoiding taxes for 7 YEARS. My cousin and her husband were ordered to go to court for this and were ordered to pay over 200,000 pounds for court cost and unpaid tax.

They couldn't afford it and had to sell there house.

Now they were homeless and 40,000 pounds in debt. They asked the family for help but no-one would help them because we had told them what my cousin did.

They have been staying at friends houses for the last 2 years now and are saving up for a house. They have since paid off the debt but are still homeless.

I hope for their sakes that they have been paying their taxes.
