Belrain Stormbow was raised by his adoptive father and trained for many years to become an accomplished member of the Bowyer's Guild. When duty called, he took up a life of adventure with a group he would eventually name "The Monster Squad". After many years of success, the troupe disbanded and went their separate ways. 'Stormbow'— as he became accustomed to being called —settled down and spent a large portion of his considerable wealth to build a castle on the northern edge of the Evermoors while he served as a Captain with the riders of Nesme and regularly battled trolls in the Evermoors. A siege of Stormbow's castle— named "Greystone" —by the Cult of the Dragon while he was away resulted in Stormbow and accompanying friends attacking the castle themselves. In a deep and unknown catacomb beneath the castle, it was discovered that the Cult of the Dragon had intended to use a Ley Line therein to ascend their Archmage and an Elder Dragon to Godhood. A cataclysm resulted in the final battle for Greystone, turning the entire castle into a pit of rubble and transporting everyone within a mile of the castle to random crystal spheres and planes of existence. And so Stormbow finds himself leaping from crystal sphere to crystal sphere, striving to put right what he finds wrong, and hoping each time that his next leap will be the leap home…
