My question was to understand how your anecdote “yea... I [don’t actually pick fruit] ... so it happens every year...” was related to the question you replied to “remember when picking fruit made enough to buy a car?”
You went on an unrelated diatribe about how when you were 13 - 16 you picked fruit. I’m not sure if you bought a car with that income, but if you did, what you said is relevant to the comment you replied to. If you didn’t, it looks like you transitioned into how migrant workers hated you even though you were ‘just like one of them.’
