No that’s not at all what you should do. Don’t “be there for her” you have to ostracize these people so they can’t keep coming back and hurting the people (the OP) around them over and over & over again. When somebody like this realizes she’s being removed from family events, not being invited to things, not being invited to Christmas, being ghosted and never getting responses from ppl who once loved them. It’s tends to make addicts think about themselves in a different light & makes them question their poor decision making. If you just keep providing them with a sanctuary to fuck off and do drugs all the time then this dude is only hurting himself. As you can clearly see here.
