My experience being a woman of color in the US

I've visited US twice in my life, in total maybe for 2 weeks. I was so shocked to see so many black people homeless, how there are actually separate black and white neighbourhoods and that most of fast food workers I've seen were blacks.

From movies you get completely different impression of America. As an Asian, I experienced racism, but never to the level described by stories I have been reading these weeks. Also in Europe its sickening to see so many migrants from African countries fighting for better life but being looked down.

The world is fucked up, but like never before we have access to information, cameras, social media to film and share faces of oppressors and racists.
