For me, I thought the LaBrants had cute kids and I liked their challenge videos so that drew me in to create a page. I had seen them on my explore page since Ev and Ava were 3. I mostly tried to get Chan and sav to notice me if I remember right, I think even younger me was smart enough to understand that the rest of the fam was questionable. I actually stopped my page because I didn’t feel appreciated by the LaBrants, it became obvious they were using their largest fan page solely for marketing. My parents didn’t know, I didn’t have it long anyways. I would tell current members of the fandom to just reflect on why they’re there and to think about how much work they’re putting in vs what interaction they get back from their “idols”
