As many others have said, go no-contact. I experienced the EXACT same thing a year ago with my ex. Me and my ex dated all throughout college and whenever there was a break (summer, winter, etc.), we would break up. Then when school was back, he would ask to get back together. Same excuse... he said he didn't want to be in a relationship or marriage wasn't right for him...

I wasted 4 years being with someone who asked me to cook and clean during the school semester due to his depression. But when he was back home, wouldn't bother texting me back but would play video games for 16 hours a day. I'm pretty sure it was because we couldn't have sex anymore during school breaks. Don't waste any more time on this guy. The first month after we broke up was rough... He was my first relationship so I took it badly. I was hospitalized for being suicidal and had panic attacks constantly. I realized that the past 4 years I had been so busy taking care of this man-child that I was isolated and had no friends left. He tried to "be friends to help me" but I couldn't get over him. Finally went no-contact, downloaded tinder, reconnected with old friends, hooked up with with one guy and then met my current boyfriend. I've never been happier and my ex seems like forever go.
