Yeah me too, as someone who was molested as a child I choose to believe children. No one wants to admit they’ve been molested or raped, it’s a life long shame and not easy to tell others. I understand people wanting to believe their family member is innocent, but they’re responsible for their actions and have ruined and scarred a child for the rest of their life. It’s pretty rare for a child to completely make up rape or molestation claims out of nowhere. It takes a lot of strength to say it out loud. The reason I still have not said anything to my parents or family is because I’m afraid of not being believed and it would probably ruin family relationships.
