My father took all of my money and claims he legally can manage it for me because I'm a minor. In addition, he's spending it on himself.

IANAL but I am a 2nd Assistant Director. Before a minor is hired by our company, their parents are required to submit their paperwork (that includes their Coogan account) to us. That is YOUR account designed to protect your earnings. A job can not legally hire you without that protection.

Also, that account can not even be withdrawn from until you are 18. https://www.actorsfcu.com/youth-accounts/coogan-accounts so your parents had to of gone about this in a criminal way to even be successful.

California state labor board, your SAG-Aftra Rep, and even the LA film office can all get you set up in fixing this whether it’s getting you a lawyer or stepping in on your behalf.
