I was at first an anti like you until I was spontaneously violently attacked, suffered permanent injuries that affects me to this day, and nobody cared, even the police. They not only refused to show up but also take a report. My family didn't care and the government sure as shit didn't care. A lot of people that found out about this blamed me for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. A big part of why I'm pro 2A is that nobody will protect me but me, and at this point I'm too fucked up physically to rely on my boxing/judo experience.

Anyone that is actively anti 2A is expecting my physical body to become collateral damage for their petty left vs. right politics, even if they deny it. Since I'm in CA where the anti-gun stuff is pretty rampant (and from what I've seen, even self-preservation is a hard no here too), I am already considered to be part of that collateral damage due to my past injuries. They are quite literally ok with me being a victim again so long as they get to virtue signal. This to me is insane.
