The thing that gave me the impression is "I don't think him making it to the vote matters if he's never going to win it.". Plus I'm sure you've said Russell will never win before, but here where you're speaking in terms of actual concrete non-hyperbole opinions is the first time I actually considered that you properly mean that statement. If you don't then cool. If you do then that's cool as well, it just kind of betrays the rest of your philosophy. I will say though, that if you want to talk specifically Samoa, the point remains that Foa Foa disliked both Russell and Ben, but they disliked Ben enough to vote him out and not Russell. Galu didn't even get a chance with Ben to hate him, except for Yasmin, who hated Ben more than anybody else there. SO if you want to make evidence out of Samoa, well, I really really fail to see how Ben comes out on top over Russell. Betsy can say whatever she wants in interviews, people can sour on Russell as much as they want later on, but Jaison and Yasmin both reacted stronger to Ben than any person did to Russell, and Ben was voted out for his personality, while Russell wasn't. I think those two are so easy to compare, and it's so easy for Ben to come out wanting, that I personally would never classify them in the same league.

I know it seems weird. But it's just what people do. Kass and Carolina is no more of a disconnect than Tina and Alexis. Sure Tina won, but in circumstances extremely different to Alexis that makes them beyond impossible to truly compare. But I bet you'd still say Tina was better right?

With Borassi I say him since he had failed to get on for medical reasons before, and he was taken out for medical reasons before the game had really, properly gotten to him with the conditions (Samoa was an especially brutal one though). There's also more, I'd say BB for sure would have quit if he had to, plus there is no combination of contestants that wouldn't vote him off eventually, Jimmy Johnson is another one, probably more. But as long as we agree there is a lower tier, then that's all I really care about, more than who is actually in it.

Last thing though. What would your higher tiers look like? I can't really see how you would even do that, although I expect it to be like: Winner tier, Cirie tier, Survivor contestant tier, Russell tier, BB tier, Kathy tier. (With the names being representative of the type of person there, not just the only person in it, except for Kathy, though I put her and BB even).
