Have about a dozen Saints caps but this is still my favorite.

A little backstory: I grew up in Denver. I bought this with my first paycheck back in 1997 at Gart Bros. (Holler of you remember Gart Bros.). Fast-forward a few years, and my dad tells me he’s moving out of state and to come with him to a storage unit to look around to see if there’s anything I want from there, and I find this cap. As we’re driving back to his house, something falls from the storage unit flies out of the back of his truck, so we pull over to get it. Well, it was windy as hell that day, and it takes this hat off my head and down below to the highway (we pulled over at an overpass), but i was determined not to lose it. So I go down the embankment, wait for traffic to pass, and run out and grab it. After that, I went back to my dad’s house to watch the afternoon game. It was December 31, 2005.
