my feedback on master skins and level 10

You need 10,000 for some of the heros, that's 100 games.

You mean 1000 games?

Anyway, my thoughts as a fairly new player:

+10 extra gold per game after level 10 means 35g on average instead of 25, which, not counting dailies, reduces the number of games required for a 10k hero from 400 to 285. Both numbers are a little ridiculous, IMO, since if we assume each game takes ~20 min then we're talking about a reduction in time investment from 133 hours per 10k hero to 95 hours. For some real-time estimates, let's take a fairly dedicated player and say that he plays 4 hours a day, 7 days a week. At games averaging 22.5 (20-25 average?) minutes, this person can play about 10.6 games per day, which means it would take him 37 days at 25g per match and 27 days at 35g per match. That's 10 fewer days of playing 4 hours a day. Pretty big difference.

Factoring in dailies, which give you ~400g per day but require an average of 4.5 games to complete, they're like playing 16 games in the space of 4.5 games at 25g per patch, so if we're playing 10.6 matches per day over 4 hours, the first 4.5 of those are like playing 16, so we're effectively playing 22 games per day at 4 hours a day, essentially doubling our "productivity," which cuts the real-time requirement of a 10k hero down to 18 days at 25g per match and 13 days at 35g per match.

13 days vs 18 days to earn a 10k hero is certainly a nice improvement, but we're also talking about a pretty dedicated player going at it 4 hours a day every day.

My fear as someone who loves the game but who also has real life commitments, it'll take me not 2 weeks to earn a 10k champ but 2 months. And I'm not a cheapskate. I'm willing to shell out some dough (and have already) but my upper limit is $60 and I would like to pick up at least a couple skins along the way so I hope Blizzard doesn't cut me out of having a well-rounded hero collection, especially as they add more and more of them.
