I have a similar experience prior to this, and hate to say it but Banks won't be able to help much if the money were already withdrawn from the scammers account.

Considering it's public holiday today and on weekends nobody will pick up the phone to help from Bank side, please be prepared for the worst case & don't expect to see that money again. If your family go to Bank on Monday, they will most likely ask the chronology first, and then ask you to file a police report first, and will only then help you to check if the money are still on the scammers account which will take a really long time unless your family member knew someone from the Bank and can help expedite your case.

All in all, be prepared for the worst, if you have the scammer contact number or screenshot the conversation, do so. One thing that might do the trick are the Viral social media stuff.
