So my first egg happened... question on genetics.

I understand that I should protect the captive bred population. I am not stupid! I have researched and know more about what I'm doing. I am not just putting animals together. I've got 4 distinct lines that I'm working on. Reverse Stripes, Bold Stripes, Tremper Albinos, and the Nova/Total Eclipse. After that I have a few that I am going to mess around with next season but if I don't get the desired result they'll be sold as pet only. I would never want to sell to a breeder without knowing the proper classification. You're not the only one that's been burned.

And if I do have ones that show up with ES I will put them down. And I'll do it the most humane way I know how, and that's with a vet. I've researched that too. And with that particular gecko, I don't know what it was. The lighting in the room hasn't changed. He's been in the rack system since the beginning. I don't know what happened. And I wasn't unfamiliar with Albinos. I'd had 2 other Trempers for several months before that. And the other Sunglow that I bought also never acted that way either. So this was something particular to that gecko.

Also, the Nova aka Enigma Raptor has Tremper in it, so there is Tremper. I don't know where you're getting the fact that there is no Albino in the lines. If I end up with something other than Dreamsicles, like Enigma Super Snows or Enigma Total Eclipses, then I'll sell it as that. I'm not going to lie about it. You seem to think I'm some evil breeder out to screw the world.

Please stop telling me to hold off on breeding. I am sorry that you were screwed, but you seem to be taking it out on me, and I had nothing to do with it. I DID THE RESEARCH on Dreamsicles. NOTHING says anything that you are saying, but just to be safe I did email a person that does breed them and look forward to hearing their response. And talking down to me as if I am stupid... is not cool.
