My first ever single segment speedrun of a Pokemon game. Pokemon Yellow in 2:01 IGT. A lot to improve, but I'm happy to say I've completed this!

Is BizHawk's use of the Gambatte core acceptable for them? Gambatte is a surprisingly featureless emulator on its own. In particular I felt it was important to have the ability to record input so that I could then record the movie at a later point.

If you did not pokedoll the ghost, then I believe you could do runs in the Any % Glitchless classic category, which tends to not allow for anything unintended.

I thought about this, and it does feel awkward using the Poke Doll, but where is the line drawn for unintended behavior?

Is the Badge Boost Glitch (where they reapply when stats are lowered or raised in-battle) okay? From what I can gather, yes, because some actions triggering it aren't within your control, like being hit by Growl? But if that's the case, would it be not okay to use boosting items to trigger it voluntarily?

And what of engine quirks like enhanced critical hit rate moves like Slash, or the X Accuracy removing the accuracy check? Are those allowed because it's actually a part of the game engine and thus unavoidable?
