So yeah, I am not really all that able to sugarcoat what I think, so here I go with honest first impressions (which are mixed):
Mag:
I kinda hated Mag’s design at first, and I’m very surprised to admit just how much it grew on me in so little time. I guess I’m just totally able to image that dude as a D&D character lol.
I expected him to be the quiet kid of the group, but damn, if reality wasn’t a surprise. I will admit that a big part of why I like him so much is discovering the hilariously poorly kept secret of his previous life, which kinda makes it really easy to sympathise with the guy lol. He is just very charismatic as a whole and that’s plain to see, which sets him apart hard from most V-Tubers in the market.
All in all, I just really like Mag. His extroverted personality along with his culture are just very easy to enjoy. Definitely the shitposter of the group. Wouldn’t be too surprised if the dude was a Redditor as well.
Regis:
I don’t know how to say that in a way that doesn’t sound too harsh, but wow, that guy single-handedly made me stand up from my chair and physically cringe.
It’s pretty mean, but seriously, I don’t think I’m humanly able to watch that dude. The very obviously forced soft voice and ”Wahs” are not only quite unoriginal, but also an extreme mood killer to me. His voice alone in the collab was enough to kinda trow me a little out of it for some moments.
I’m absurdly glad he is the most popular one, because this honestly makes me feel a little better about not enjoying him at all.
I honestly didn’t even pay too much attention to his personality because his voice just didn’t allow me to lol.
It reminds me a little bit of early Fauna, with the exception that Fauna’s voice was (and still is) natural enough for me to doubt up to this day if that isn’t just how she actually sounds.
Dunno, maybe I will warm up to him, but seriously, that voice and the slightly forced feminine style are just really not my thing. Glad he seems to be well liked, though.
Axel:
Didn’t watch him outside the collab so I’m still holding my opinion until I watch some more of his antics, but I admit that, as a first impression, the amount of times he used the word ”Gaslight” was a turn off catastrophic enough to the point it kinda turned my first impression into a really negative one.
Yes, I’m just very biased against people who unironically use this world so I can’t deny just how much of a nitpicker prick I’m being here, which is why I can’t say I disliked him at all.
I’m just waiting until his next live. I’ve heard good things about his debut and he seemed very genuine, so I get the impression that it’s just another Calli case for me, where the first impression coincidentally happened to cause a huge misunderstanding on my part that made me think she was actually just a dick to Kiara, which was obviously corrected once the fake Tsundere act clicked.
It’s probably the same case, so I get the felling I will end up liking the dude. Being genuine is already a huge selling point, anyways.
Vesper:
Vesper ”please never use that word again” Noir is pretty much impossible to be disliked by anyone.
Just your neighbourhood bro being a total bro and slightly self-depreciative. By far the most mature and genuine member of the bunch, who talks a lot and has quite the good taste in both anime and games.
He reminds me of that one slightly chubby nerd friend who is genuinely just a good person and nice to be around.
Plus, his personality alone is pretty solid and enough to keep anyone around. Being a solid bro all around.
He is pretty unique amongst streamers as a whole in the way he doesn’t really seem like someone putting an act or even slightly forced. He just seem glad to be there and his personality alone is enough to keep people interested.
Probably the nicest dude there in the most literal sense of the word. And that should be about it.
