My first show! (I'm bass one)

K first things first. WATCH THE DRUM MAJOR ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

.... K, now that that's out of the way, some other things. I couldn't really hear the bass line very often but when I did my biggest thing is openess, make sure all of those splits are super open between the whole line, understand the bass of the split, assuming you're doing 8th note splits 2s are 16th notes, 3s are sixtuplets, and 4s are 32nd notes, once you realize what those are, you're splits are gonna clean right up man.

Make sure your snares are listening to each other, there is only 2 of them so listening to each other is super important, make sure youre center snare doesnt think hes to good to listen and have him listen to your other player and visa versa.

Now this isnt anything thats up to you and its early season so maybe this will get changed, but man that opener from when you got on to the field was S L O W and personally I didnt think it made a whole lot of sense. Just make sure you and your section are doing exactly what your director is telling you do do, and then make sure you're selling the crap out of it man. Believe in it so much that you forget who you are really are and you just become that "character" of being lost. (I assume thats what we were going for?)

K now for some good. Food timing across the line was pretty good, I didnt notice many people out of step which was awesome! For the most part all of our crossing points of our feet were good too. Just make sure that everyone is clear on crossing on the 'and' of the count (assuming thats the technique)

Balance was also pretty good, could just be the recording but I never felt like you guys overpowered the band except for the snare at a few spots.

Overall great job man, you're leagues ahead of me when I first started, keep up the hard work and keep us updated!
