Oh god...this poor kid...

I have a 11 yr old son who is constantly getting texts from girls at all hours of the night and i am completely amazed that these parents of these girls allow them to even be on the phone that late-- My son has a phone from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday and never on the weekends-- I have enabled his text on his phone and I receive all his messages due to the fact that I have locked his phone and he cannot unlock it without a passcode. His phone is for emergencies only!!!! He has given the number out to his friends and they know that I answer the phone not him!! And I do this because I love him. I am not trying to control him but at 10yrs old what kind of social life does he really need. He only goes where i take him and he only goes with who I allow him to go with- I'll be damned if ANYONE will ever tell me that I need to respect his privacy-- Once you become a parent you are always a parent- It is how you decide to guide your children that makes the difference in how your child will raise their children--
