I think my friend is getting herself into a human trafficking scheme

Dude sent a ton of pictures of the car. That's what you do when you're selling a car, or being a middleman between two people you know in this case.

It wasn't until he was constantly calling her phone, and making her feel bad that she finally gave in. Your friend agreed to it. The guy probably had to go out and organise it. His friend probably had to take the car off the market and say no to some offers. Then your friend decides to bail on it wasting everyone's time, effort and money. It's reasonable for an adult to try and explain to the teenager that they're being irresponsible, and they SHOULD feel bad about it.

Honesty, all I got from your OP was that you two had a bad feeling and wanted to bail based on that. Nothing from the guy's side seemed that suspicious. So you're either not conveying what made you suspicious very well, or you two just imagined malice where there wasn't any.

Also, nothing in your post even remotely suggests human trafficking. I have no idea how you got there. Which makes me even more sceptical of what you're claiming.
