Yup that’s scrappy! The writers of Scooby-Doo actually picked this breed for scooby and scrappy because at least the time pittbulls actually showed evidence of being able to sense supernatural entities and it was big news.

Experiments put tons of animals to the test, including multiple dog breeds. It was only pittbulls that reacted negatively to a ouiji board in use, all other animals seemed to not care.

The writers of Scooby-Doo considered dropping the project once they found out that the participating cat was moving the lens on the board the entire time, and the pittbull was on to him and trying to get him to stop. Ultimately, they pressed on anyhow but the show never included any real ghosts to maintain realism.
