You dont get to define the intimacy needs of others. If you cannot meet her needs, it is unkind to remain because you are fine with the status quo. It is like someone who loves to talk being with someone who hates listening and loves silence, so they wear headphones. Then the partner who talks is sad, and headphones says "what, our relationship is all about listening?".

You cant just chop out the bits that arent important to you and expect her to do the same. This is important to her! It is a relationship need! What are you going to do about it besides tell her to suck it up? You keep putting it off as if itll go back to normal but it sounds like you enjoy this frequency and she does not. That is deliberately unkind to ask her to deal with.
