I’m sorry you’re in this situation. It sounds like she’s pretty deep in her addiction, as it seems her tolerance is through the roof (four bottles of wine in one night?!) This was going on long before you came into the picture and will happen long after. She has to decide she wants to stop and seek help on her time, when she decides. Nothing more, nothing less. As far as what you can do at this point, unfortunately unless she is physically abusing you, in which case absolutely call the police, the police will do nothing since she has established residence there, doesn’t matter if she is on the lease or not. They will tell you it is a civil matter and you need to go through the courts. My advice is when she gets out of control make sure you video record it so she doesn’t try and say you are the one abusing her (unfortunately law enforcement tend to believe females over males much of the time in domestic violence incidents). Depending on how much longer is left on your lease, maybe just try to stay away from home as much as you can and set a firm boundary that the relationship is over. Don’t engage with her, especially when she’s been drinking, and absolutely do not save her from the consequences of her drinking. Hopefully soon after she realizes it’s really over she will willingly leave.
