Well repeat dosing of narcan isn't unheard of. It doesn't last very long so if the OD is from a long acting opioid ie NOT fentanyl you require repeat dosing. But to have to give multiple doses at once is weird.

Doctors dont really know much about all the recreational drugs out there and toxicology tests in the hospital are limited.

Also nurse should definitely do something if patient looks like they are decompensating or worse actively seizing. She may need benzos or other meds to stop seizing and may require airway protection.

This sounds like a horrible story, sorry OP hope she gets better. I doubt the mystery drug could be that crazy or unknown but who really knows
