I had been friends with a guy for around 3 years. He also told me he liked me, a few times, but I have never been interested in him. He was always very clingy. I have a boyfriend and this guy friend affected our relationship in a bad way and my boyfriend didn’t like me being friends with him (even though I didn’t hang out with him much). I cut ties with him and I am honestly glad I did. I think it’s better in a relationship to not have close friends (of the opposite gender), especially if one has feelings for you. Let’s just say: I think you’re girlfriend likes his attention and she needs to cut ties or else it will affect your relationship VERY bad.
