My son has a grandfather too. But grandfather and grandmother doesn’t have time to be with their grand child. They don’t have time for him. We live in another continent and due to circumstances we haven’t been able to visit and won’t be able to do so for a while. We have even invited them to come and spend a few months with us. They don’t say anything.I get to call them only once a week because they have a tight schedule. They love their work. Their students. Pretty much 7 days a week. My son doesn’t seem interested in the video chats with them anymore these days. That connection is not there no matter how much I try. But they pretend as though nothing is wrong.
