Yah sorry bro for your experience... Personal crisis is unfortunate and understandable, but if the store owner couldn't reach out to individuals but has time to mess around on social media. He could of at least put a one liner on his store's blog informing paying customers of the situation and that shipping and communication may be delayed, instead of keeping them in the dark. I think most people would be understanding and this whole situation probably wouldn't have happened.
In regards to the Facebook situation. I don't believe the correct way with dealing with consumer relation fall outs involves: ignoring the inquiry posts (further pics were still being uploaded to the page), deleting inquiry posts, blocking users with inquiries to ensure no more inquiries posts are posted, then pretending like nothing happened. lol that's just bad business practice, it was up for awhile and people obviously saw it. He would of been better off owning it and reply directly to the posts to show he is responsible vendor. Rather then sweeping it under the rug.
With that being said. I happen to see the post in question on FB last month, I replied under that thread with my concerns and was also blocked from making further comments on Southbay's page. My post was more benign, simply stating that I too was having trouble getting a response from the emails provided and that the shop's emailing app was bouncing my inquires, I wasn't sure he was getting them (I had some questions about his inventory). I was hoping that it would help elicit a response or at the very least inform the shop owner that something on his site/email might not be working. I eventually was able to get a hold of him via phone... (which can be just as difficult as email) and establish communication through email from then on and all was good... Not sure why I deserved the BanHammer as well. Maybe he thought I was in cahoots with ps3isawesome or something. shrugs
TLDR: Southbay has issues with communication and handling difficult situations
