My job wants me to sign a new contract reducing my pay to minimum wage. What happens if I don't sign? Florida

I’m not sure about the legal part of this but I’m sure the opticians make more than that! I’m an optician in a non-licensed state even and I make double that with less than 5 years experience! I would just say goodbye all together. Surely an optometrist can always find a job. Idk what the legal ramifications with the job would be but I thought you should know. That offer is a slap in the face. My mom is abo/Ncle, going for her masters abo and in a licensed state and makes nearly 4x that. Neither of us graduated college much less went to the amount of school you did!
