Can castle nut/barrel nut compatibility be an issue? My hand guard is from a local Canadian company and didn't come with a barrel nut so I just ordered a cheap $20 barrel nut a long time ago and now that I think of it I haven't thought about it's compatibility. Here is the exact barrel nut.

Castle nut is whatever comes in the package with my buffer kit tube.It's in an oiled bag atm but I could break it out for a picture if need be.

I definitely plan on building more than one AR, but this will be it for probably a year or so. Parts are expensive up here, unfortunately.

Also, this is everything in my LPK, is that all I need? For some reason I think I'm short a detent.
