My local Parish has added GBITQA+, Aboriginal and BLM flags in front of the Cross. It’s good to see this gesture of inclusivity and diversity, but is the positioning in front of the Cross taking away from the reverence and single focus of the Cross?

Yes, fine, but sometimes words mean more than one thing, otherwise your comment would belong on r/orthodoxchristianity. If I’d said this was a Catholic sub, it would not have said very much - OP appears to know that, since they’re asking about a Catholic Church. ‘Conservative’ is a commonly used word to describe various things including opposition to things like BLM and the rainbow flag, therefore it accurately describes most people on this sub and makes the distinction clearer between the Catholics on here and the Catholics at this Church.

You can all relax, all I’m doing is using words as they are commonly used. There’s no need to be so defensive about it.
