my (m19) boyfriend (m22) has anger issues and makes me nervous to move in with him.

This is actually terrible advice. If he will agree to go to counseling and look into help then there is always hope that a person can change. To say that someone who has anger issues will never change and is hopeless is probably one of the dumbest things I have ever heard. If he is worth it to you and you are worth it to him, then I would sit down and have a very serious conversation and tell him you will not move in with him unless he is willing to go through anger management or counseling before hand to address these issues. Do not listen to people who say its hopeless. I had terrible anger issues years ago but was willing to work on it. That is all it takes. willingness.
