Honestly your relationship sounds fine and if you feel like you really have issues then you should see a couples therapist. I've been together with my husband for 8 years prior before we got married this year and we have a similarity where similarity where hes the one that does all the bills and I work part time and mostly stay-at-home and I go to school. I too am terrible At saving money sometimes because I just spend money whenever I want something. But I don't keep it a secret from him I'll tell him if I want to make a big purchase and if he says that we don't have the money this month then I won't do it. That's called communication! And alot of couples don't do this.
