What do they think, they're going to "revirginize" you? They need to let you keep living your life and talk to you being safe and healthy. I mean, all any parent can hope to do is have good communication with their kid about sex and their beliefs as far as waiting until marriage. Your parent's attempt to over-control/punish this situation is alarming to me. Are you the oldest? Have they ever experienced letting a child grow up before? Counseling might help them let go a little. Look, you're not a bad kid, period. You sound like a great person! Your parents should be proud of you! And the fact that you aren't angry at this situation, but more so just want to patch everything up is testament to the fact that your parents did a good job raising you and you are a nice person. Don't beat yourself up. I suggest asking your mom and dad about going to a few therapy sessions, the 3 of you. Get a professional's opinion. I think they might be able to help your parents come to terms with reality.
