My mom said this disproves evolution

I would be skeptical of anything attempting to disprove evolution. Sources like these typically make vast oversimplifications or are just plain nefarious.

Basically all you need to realize that this is totally bullshit is that it is attaching this supposed observation (which is probably oversimplified, and potentially completely made up) to the biblical flood myths. There is no hypothesis being tested. All that was done was someone realized that fossilized footprints exist and tried to make a case that footprints appear earlier in the fossil record than entire body forms. Quite a leap of faith to propose that the footprints were left because the creatures were hurriedly escaping approaching floodwaters.

Moreover, if one of these floods were as biblical as they say, how would a trilobite even have a chance of escaping it? Apparently whoever made this forgot that trilobites are rather small and probably didn't move very fast. Another point is that if there was such a flood in question, it was have erased any sediment the animal had walked on just moments before; fossilization would have been impossible. But none of that matters anyway because trilobites were marine animals. Yes, trilobites lived in the ocean and therefore would never have even been subject to the threat of a flood.

Think of how certain the most brilliant biologists in the world are that the theory of evolution is true, then think of how whoever made this in hopes of casting discord on the theory doesn't even know that trilobites lived in marine habitats. It goes without saying that this is completely fueled by faith religious ulterior motives.

I hate to break it to you but your mom's an idiot. Try explaining to her why this makes no sense if you think she would understand.
