Because you are mirroring them. Soon you become like them like you are right now! That’s why! People w empathy and love don’t become who they hate because hate doesn’t, shouldn’t ever come into your heart. Otherwise you are being a hypocrite.

My mom taught me all about that kind or love and I refused to spread it. I learned what abusive love was all about and made damn sure it did not perpetuate w me! I stopped that kind of abusive, selfish, narcissistic love. It’s not love at all. It’s abuse and I will not, ever condone it. Love doesn’t have “exceptions”. And the regret you will LIVE, not just feel if either or both of them die will follow you the rest of your life.
