My mother became a US citizen today!

You have obviously never spent any time immersed in a culture other than your own. Ever lived in a multi-generational non-English-speaking community in the USA? Seems not. Ever lived abroad, immersed in a culture (not on a military base or with a group of students from your home country) for more than a few days or weeks? Seems not, based on your comments. I've done both and I benefited from the experience with a greater understanding of how other people think, act, and what drives them.

Your ignorance is tremendous and what's worse is you are so unaware of it. Ignorance in and of itself is not bad, it's just a lack of experience and/or learning. I encourage you to spend a bit more time with those that you seem to speak of knowingly. I find your comparison between the power of a community vs. a single Russian entity to be laughable, in this hypothetical. All I can tell is you're so bent on being right that you're not thinking critically and earnestly.

Good luck to you in your search for knowledge. I have failed to help you so perhaps someone else will try, but it's doubtful this deep in the comments. ;)
