My mother-in-law won’t leave my husband alone and yesterday sent an email stating that she will never stop. We don’t know what to do.

You’re right. She’s relentless and after the whole gun incident we’re terrified of her. My husband has nightmares of her and I’m honestly worried she’ll snap and do something terrible to him. After the email yesterday where she admitted that she’s never gonna stop, and everybody’s comments about how worried they are for us, I think I’m going to have to get in touch with a lawyer.

We stopped deleting all of their communications and have instead been filing them away as evidence. My husband also sent a very to-the-point message to both parents threatening legal action if they don’t stop stalking him and messaging him. We’re just really anxious now and I feel so sad for him that this is what it’s come to. He’s understandably really upset that his parents have forced his hand in this way. We have roommates and I had to warn them to instantly call the police if she shows up.
