My movie night pick this week; any recommendations?

Paris, Texas

A sweet movie that hits both internally and externally. Really simple storyline, but also presents more serious themes like parenthood, loneliness and love. It has stunning cinematography and really good acting from Harry Dean Stanton (RIP).

It can be kind of slow at points, but the dialogue is understandable, and you can empathize with the characters. Doesn’t have any really explicit scenes, or bad language from what I can remember.

It’s got great heart, but maybe it will resonate differently depending on the audience you show it to. More entertaining that most of the other more abstract criterion films at least.

I was so pleasantly surprised when I first watched this movie, and I can’t wait to show it to my family - I hope you will feel the same.
