My neighbor “allegedly” refused to pay the guy who cleared his back yard. He’ll be coming home to this gift left in his driveway.

"Your honor, they didn't take the rubble away as per our agreement, so I refused to pay them"

"Your honor, he never paid us, so we brought it back. We aren't going to pay for disposal if we won't be paid for the service."

"So you admit to illegal dumping, vandalism, and harassment?"

Yeah no, not how it works. We don't do an eye for an eye here. Instead, document what is happening and make sure you do your job absolutely, because then you can actually take them to court instead of being racked with illegal things you did and giving the person you wronged a foot in. Not to mention if there's damage on the driveway or lawn and it can't be proven to not have come from it, that's just another issue.
