Oh gosh, what have I gotten into. I simply stated that we appear to come from different backgrounds, which undeniably influences our perspectives on this.

I agree with what you're saying about considering long-term consequences. However, I don't think you've considered that there are many people (including myself) whose seizures have been significantly reduced by cannabis, according to very strong evidence. If someone finds it to be helping, why would you tell someone to stop? Doesn't make sense to me, especially when new research is constantly revealing anti-epileptic benefits of CBD. And it is true that many doctors are more concerned with their own job liability when it comes to recommending cannabis over more conventional and legalized forms of medication, I have experienced this bias repeatedly in psychiatry.

I am not pushing misinformation about medicine, but rather suggesting that all sources of information be considered critically with an emphasis on wellness as the patient reports it.
