My new short film TAILYPO . Film makers id love to hear your thoughts.

The dubbing and sound FX could use more love.

At 3:40, I'm not sure the happy music worked for me. I would have liked to set my own tone, and it's contrast with the dark tones when the creature was making all the noises was off-putting.

You did a great job making the actor pull the film.

I felt like many of the camera shots could have been slightly more substantial, but with limited equipment this can be a challenge. For example, the opening shot is beautiful (came in quick too) and hooked me, but if you brought the camera back and pulled in you would see more trees surrounding him and it would look like he is deeper in the forest.

I do want to say that it's been a long time since I actually finished a movie on Filmmakers, and yours ended quick and clean.

One thing though, in the end credits you mention that the story is based on a story handed down from generation to generation. I need to know what culture you are referring too, or some more specific details on that. The current statement really brings more questions than answers.

I could go on and on... I thought the shot of him illuminated in the doorway with the gun was wonderful, but would have been more powerful if he was in the dark in the scene before hand.

Good lighting, though some of the shots weren't color corrected to be scary, but more friendly.

The creature was amazing. Scary as hell. Made of nightmares.

Okay okay, last note from me... I think it dragged a little in the scene with the fire (the same part I mentioned at first). I definitely understand that him cooking and eating the tail is a plot point, but we montage'd through him preparing the meal, then stopped to see him waiting for it to cook, which might be the least entertaining step of the process.

Over all very well done, I think you're choice of location and characters hooked me, and you're professional look kept me watching.
