‘My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman’ Netflix Show Cut Out Kanye ‘Ye’ West Comments on ‘Nazis’ and Rihanna Payback

r/westsubever has been a massive letdown. It used to be an extremely accepting sub for Kanye fans who wanted to keep up with news on him and stuff while avoiding low-effort posts found on r/Kanye. People were always super welcoming to the lgbtq+ community and all races, and they generally held Kanye accountable for his actions when he messed up while still remaining fans. They were always pretty reasonable and mature.

But immediately after Kanye’s antisemitic rants and conspiracy theories, it’s like antisemites flocked to the sub while everyone else left. They’re now pushing the conspiracy theory that Kanye’s personal trainer who happens to be Jewish (one who works with tons of other big celebs) had him falsely diagnosed as bipolar by a Jewish doctor in order to control him through medication. It’s so sad to see their lack of critical thinking and them feeding into Kanye’s paranoia. And I’m genuinely not sure if it’s that reasonable people left/stopped using the sub and it got taken over by antisemites, if these people turned out to be secretly antisemitic this whole time/are just that gullible to believe anything Kanye says now, or if it’s a combination of both, but it really sucked to watch happen.

(For the record, I held out as a Kanye fan over the last several years hoping he would get the mental help he needs and get back to having solid values like standing up against homophobia, but as of now I no longer support him.)
