I don't really know what's so offensive about my post. It was direct reply to you telling someone that they were a moron for believing something a developer said about a video game they were really excited about. That's 100% fact. You had so many words dedicated to explaining why they were stupid for thinking that way, all while creating excuses for why outright misleading info is totally OK (just so long as the developer is under 16 people and the game has "potential.")
Take note that I'm not even arguing against any of your excuses. You could very well be right that in a year+ the game turns out to be really cool. But nothing you said really provides any solid reasoning that person shouldn't be upset. They're allowed to be upset and you're allowed to think the game is totally cool.
It's frustrating to see you and others on this subreddit dismiss valid critical feedback as "toxic." You're being equally aggressive and toxic.
