Forgot to ask, when taking real people into account, do you tend to judge them more in terms of their content or morality? Like for example, there are some music artists who are terrible people in real life, but still makes enjoyable enough material to the extent were you can still separate the art from the artist. And as I've alluded to before, there are also some cases like Bill Cosby who have made content that I have always held in high regard since childhood, but ended up committing certain crimes that completely destroyed their reputation and career.
Side note: Cosby's still serving his 3-10 year prison sentence and iirc, the latest possibility for release is September of this year
In addition, I dunno if this is just me, but I feel like a lot of internet reviewers (*COUGH*mrenter*COUGH*) have really caused a lot of people to always remember the worst aspects of certain characters from shows like Spongebob, or especially Family Guy, rather than the things that made said characters so iconic and beloved in the first place. And in most cases, some people feel the need to let as much as one (or two) episode(s) tarnish any good will they otherwise have towards a certain character, even when said episode(s) are an inaccurate representation of their character as a whole.
