My opinion on the Ana damage debate as someone who plays a lot of Tracer and Ana alike.

Yeah either attempt to understand someone else's point of view or just don't comment. Neither of your comments contribute anything to this discussion. Nonetheless, I will explain what I mean.

Supports do not do much damage because they heal well. I just want supports to do enough damage to maybe convince an enemy that they should back off, aka defending yourself. Ana was good at defending herself because if a flanker made a misstep, Ana could kill them or seriously wound them. It made the decision to engage Ana or not a tactical one. Flankers had to catch her by surprise or engage her once her sleep dart was on CD. In other words, her damage increased her survivability to some degree and made her a more attractive hero choice. Now that her damage is terrible, flankers have way less of a risk engaging supports. Supports as a class would be much more rewarding to play if they had a better chance of defending themselves. It would also in theory raise the skill cap of flankers as the decision to engage would be based on the situation. There is almost no risk engaging a lone support in Overwatch right now. There should at the very least be a little risk.
