Yay! And that's why I lurk. I comment on veeeeery rare occasion. I never check the comment section because it's never honest, always fake, and sometimes after a million complements "weeeeell I mean your lipstick is a liiiittle'. Come the fuck on. We don't come here to look at fat chicks who think makeup somehow cancels their obesity (even when the makeup looks great, let's all be honest, no one wants to see it on a hippo) or 50 year old women feeling spunky who are trying lipstick for the first time and they smudge some crap on to their dried up greasy faces. Who wants to see that? No one wants to see that. It's just naturally not appealing. Victorias Secret doesn't sell because their models are prediabetic lardbeasts, or menopausal women trying to cling on to youth. They sell because we like what we see. Period. We come here to sift through the crap and see attractive women with stunning makeup skills who can share tips with us, or we look for tutorials from people who know what the fuck they're doing, and not just messing with their first ever drug store lipstick. Proof? Top posts of all time with highest upvotes, all fucking gorgeous women who have obviously been taking makeup seriously for a very long time. And don't get me started on the swatches..... saaame hyped brands over and over. Wanna submit a USEFUL swatch? Swatch something I've never even heard of, but am now interested in trying because you brought something new and exciting to the table. We get it omg yes kate von something new lipstick got it OK don't need to see and hear it over and over again. No wonder this place was listed as one of the most toxic communities. I still subscribe though for the quality posts here and there. Don't wanna miss out on the gold, even with all the shit around. Your posts are gold.
