You people are so damn delusional, no one is perfect, parents least of all.

When me and my brother were kids, my dad once punched my brother. In the moment awfully frightening, looking back, completely understandable.

I was doing the thing older brothers do to piss of their younger brothers, and i just took it to far and REALLY pissed of my brother, who was making a sandwich (so he was holding a knife), and he just kinda reacted by turning around and trying to stab me. He didn't understand the consequences of stabbing he was just reacting. But it scared the ever living shit out of my father who grabbed him a hit him, and yelled at him.

My father is not an affectionate man, but a damn supportive one.m If there were one person i/we have always been able to count on it's our dad, no matter what shit we got into, and i can't imagine not having him in my life.

So, looking back, it wasn't THAT bad.
