they literally did not care at all, they just wanted me to grow up catholic, the public schools in our town are fuckig amazing and there's even a great charter school nearby, they had AMPLE options to choose from. btw i am NOT going off "internet school ratings" i am going off the experiences of friends i had who went to public school and the school's website where i can CLEARLY SEE they offer 5+ more AP courses than my school did, some of which i BADLY wanted to take in order to get ahead in college like AP compsci

im sorry you live in an area like that and you and your wife had bad experiences but you don't understand what it's like to live here or what the schools here are like, my parents didn't sacrifice fucking ANYTHING by keeping me in catholic school where i got bullied by richer girls when i was fucking begging to go to literally any other school, there was even a private non-catholic school about 2 towns over with similar tuition rates and they STILL didn't want me going there, they had AMPLE FUCKING OPTIONS to help me or listen to me but they refused all because they wanted me to grow up to be a practicing catholic
